Prototypes
Our prototype molds are made from tool steel and often hardened components are used. These molds are capable of molding higher quantities of parts than the typical aluminum mold and can be modified quickly. We do not use aluminum like most molders because they do not allow engineering grade materials to become fully crystalline and therefore loose the properties the material gives to your parts. Our prototype molds can get you the parts you need within 4 weeks.
Mold Studies & Design
International Plastics has developed new methods of mold construction, which provide a longer mold life, better part integrity that saves you money. We have over 20 years of experience in designing and building molds for PEEK, Radel, LCP's, micro parts that include hot runner, multi cavity. International Plastics also developed a unique modular mold system that is perfect for family parts or small parts. This system provides low upfront costs for tooling, and gives you full production capability.
Successful tool design is one of the critical building blocks in the Advanced Scientific Injection Molding (ASIM) process. Our ability to design and build complex tools requiring all the components necessary for successful decoupled molding. Decoupled molding allows you to analytically monitor the process and separate it into distinctive elements. This is what gives the process incredible repeatability and reliability and delivers the quality our customers need.

We offer a piece of mind when you buy a mold from International Plastics, and that is a mold warranty. Every tool we build goes above and beyond the specification standard set by the Society of Plastics Industry. Our warrantees are for the life of your mold. Meaning you NEVER pay for any tooling maintenance as long as the tool is with us.
