International Plastics maintains a fully equipped in-house mold making facility. This helps control your costs and minimizes response time. We can service your projects from prototype, new production mold building, engineering changes, transfer tooling, and day to day maintenance.
Prototypes Our prototype molds are made from tool steel and often hardened components are used. These molds are capable of molding more parts than the typical aluminum mold, and can be modified quickly and easily. We do not use aluminum like prototype molders because they do not give you true production part characteristics. Our prototype tooling can also give you substantial quantities of parts within 4 WEEKS! |

International Plastics has developed new methods of tool construction which provide a longer tool life, better part integrity, which saves you money. Successful tool design is one of the critical building blocks in the Advanced Scientific Injection Molding (ASIM) process. Our ability to design and build complex tools requiring all the components necessary for successful decoupled molding. Decoupled molding allows you to analytically monitor the process and separate it into distinctive elements. Warrantees We offer a variety of mold warrantees. Every tool we build goes above and beyond the specification standard set by the Society of Plastics Industry. Our warrantees range from 100,000 shots to lifetime.
